Her Needs
Judy worked in a manual labor position, in home and garden. She frequently has to climb up and down ladders, lift and carry, and do so on a wet floor at times.
Her Problem
Judy suffered two separate injuries – resulting in a lateral ankle ligament reconstruction, several months off work, deconditioning, weakness, knee pain, and balance difficulties. Complicating her clinical picture was the fact that she was 78 years old.
Her Therapy
Judy’s therapy initially focused on her ankle range of motion and flexibility, and quickly moved to balance retraining, strength/aerobic conditioning, and retraining her ability to lift, carry and climb.
Her Results
Judy was able to perform all of her regular work duties. Check out the video of her care above.
